Members Chaotic
Okay, I've got a Gibson Les Paul Voodoo and a Yamaha Classical. Technically thats two guitars, but only one plugs into an amp. I've got two amps. One is for metal, the other is for blues and rock. I think I practice a lot more with less gear. The more stuff I have to fiddle with, the less I practice. I was wondering if anyone else has the same philosophy? Reason I post this is I've been thinking about getting a Gibson Les Paul Baritone guitar to play metal with and using my other Les Paul for blues only. Is this the path to GAS hell? Should I instead be thinking about how to reduce to one amp? Anyways... just seeing what anyone else thinks of these things.
Members lamppost
Nothing wrong with having tons of gear...just focus on practicing instead of fiddling:thu:

Members No Soul
Ive got a ton of guitars, but thats probably where the complexity of my set up ends. Ive got 3 amps. 2 boogies and a Fender. Pretty easy to guess what I use em for. Beyond that Im pretty plug and and play. Here and there I throw in a overdrive pedal, but its rare. Half the time I dont even like connecting the footswitch on my boogies
