Members mr2good
I landed a sweet G&L Fullerton Strat through the HC classifieds. G&L George Fullerton Cherry Burst Anyways, I used to be primarily an acoustic player but now I am playing a ton on my strat. I've heard that my Para Acoustic DI will improve any instruments tone, not just acoustics. So should I use the PADI for my electric set up? I also play with a band a lot, would it send a stronger cleaner signal to my amp? Do electrics generally benefit from the use of a Direct In? I'm using a Peavey Delta Blues (same thing as Classic 30 but w/ 2 10's and built in tremelo) 30 watt tube amp. Thanks for the help. Matt
Members walfordr
Depends very much on your amp as to whether you'd get any benefit. You'd pretty much be using it as an EQ pedal/boost pedal. Try it and see. And keep the gain down or you'll just overload the first stage of your amp.
