Members Koz
I'm looking for a strat. Right now it's either an American Standard or one of the MIJ reissues. I'm looking used on ebay.I've got a budget of $600.
Members machine gunner
I have a Jap. 57' Reissue (1987). Don't like the small frets, makes bending harder, kinda weak pups, but otherwise a quality guitar. Haven't picked it up in a long time, replaced it w/ an Ame. Strat. Got a pro setup done on it, but still just not my cup of tea...
Members smurfco
my 1993 50s RI is a {censored}ing great guitar, MIJ, picked it up for around $420. The stock pickups sounded good but for curiosity's sake i put in a set of Tonerider pickups a friend had given to me and now it's one of my favorite guitars... Members deva_da_man
I have a 1982-4 (haven't checked the neck date, but the serial number indicates 82-84) '57 reissue strat, and it's great. I don't mind the small frets, however it is due for a refret in the next year or two, i will get larger frets when it's done. the pickups sound lovely to me, but i'm not a high-output-pickup type person... u can always just turn your amp up. all in all, great guitar, i'd suggest buying one for sure.
