Members Borderline
I've just replaced the pickups in my Epi Les Paul Standard with humbucker sized p90's. Because i'm now using singlecoils do I need to replace the standard pots and capacitor? if so what should I replace these with?
Members walfordr
You certainly don't have to replace them, but you can if you want.
Members Borderline
Also when opened up the control cavity I noticed that there was some weird plastic junction box joining together some of the wires - should I rip this out and replace with some properly insulated .22 wire? Sorry no pics - maybe some other Epi owners have seen the same in theirs?
Members Janglin_Jack
I have a Korean made Epi Les Paul Goldtop. I bought it with Lindy Fralin P90's. I replaced the pots - 500K. Changed the output jack. I left in the pickup selector switch and it promptly failed in a week or so. I would change ALL the electronics.
