Members aerorockjax Posted May 24, 2006 Members Share Posted May 24, 2006 http://www.rondomusic.net/al3100mop.html Sweet looking guitar but i'm disapointed to see the 1 5/8 nut width (rather then 1 11/16), 10 lbs weight(rather then 8lbs or so), and no mention of using a higher quality fret alloy (stainless steel frets would be ideal). I dont believe any other korean company in that budget range is doing it, so I dont think it would be convenient for whatever company is doing this to retrain and retool its assembly line in order to fill a few orders for a small american distributor. Even though i'm not looking for a strat, if it was available in better color like 3 toned vintage sunburst, placid blue...and had stainless steel medium jumbo frets(i'll pay extra for that) I'd order one.
