Members id-man
Been needing a set of closed, isolating, cans so I can better hear what the microphone is hearing when I try to record a loud distorted guitar amp. These caught my eye, on the cover of MF May catalog. Anyone tried them? http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/AKG-M-70-Headphones?sku=240277&src=3WFRWXX For $29.99 it's like too good to be true, but my needs are simple. Not planning to multitrack or listen to hi-fi with these.
Members RaVenCAD
I haven't used those, so I can't comment on them. But, a good way to pick god cheap headphones is to compare the frequency range to that of a know, high quality, high dollar set. Personally, I use Sennheiser HD212's and LOVE them. Great for guitar, games, listening to DVDs, MP3's whatever ya want.. $60 at GC.. More money, but I adore them.
Members id-man
Those look like they would work, and they're right in the middle costwise of the other ones I had been waiting to buy - Direct Sound "Extreme Isolation" at $89.99 MF. Anyone able to compare these brands against each other?
