Members karma279 Posted April 20, 2009 Members Share Posted April 20, 2009 I've never used MIDI interfaces before. I have a 61 key Casio keyboard (CTK496) that's my daughters that's compatible. It has MIDI out and MIDI in.I assume I need an MIDI interface to set up as triggers? Cheap way to go MIDI to USB? I record with a Line 6 UX1 and use Reaper.I also have a digital drum set (Yamaha YDD-60) that is MIDI. It has Aux in, MIDI in, MIDI out and Line out/phones. Would this work the same way? How would I map stuff in Reaper to use these instruments to trigger sounds to record along to previously recorded tracks? I'm 100% n00b at MIDI; so please go easy.
