I just got a DXMGT 2 weeks ago, and I have been playing it, and its good, but im just not in love with it. The pickups could use a change, but I dont know if I like the playability enough to purchase new pups.

I'm thinking if im not in love with it, it makes no sense to pay for it....

I'm stuck here

Go and do it now...

( Bruce awakes from his fitful sleep)

Wha!?

what happened?! I dreamt that GC was flooded with returned merchandise!

Oh, bummer, it was only a dream.

just my opinion, you might never truly like it if you have to convince yourself to keep it

it depends on what is wrong with the playability. If it's the neck profile, no basic setup can help that. If it's the action or sharp frets, that stuff can be fixed. If it's just an overall feel that you can't really put a finger on, you might want to return it.

I hope you saved the original box because you need it to return IIRC. They will probably charge you for the return shipping as well because there's no apparent damage.

Cheap price for cheap crap and no service = Bad guitar store

Customer always right, refunds on clean merchandise and helpful, knowledgable sale staff ,Plus after sale service. = good guitar store.

now that you know what to look for... go find a good guitar store.

Just my 2 cents on GC. POOR service, crap products ,Gibsons look like Epi's Somethin aint right. Find an Honest local shop to deal with. One that has a tech that can actually fix something. I found out the hard way a good shop is like gold and if you deal with them enough they are more inclined to help you out in a bind.
