Members I was The Funk Posted August 18, 2009 Members Share Posted August 18, 2009 Hey all, So a few weeks ago I replaced my trusty Delta66/omnistudio card for my desktop computer with a Mackie 400F. Worked perfectly on my XP Pro running desktop with Sonar 6 producer, and things sounded better and I got lots done. Psyched for the portability that firewire offers, I bought a laptop which runs vista premium 64 bit. Also I upgraded to Sonar 8 Producer, which I have installed on my laptop but not my desk top. I downloaded the vista drivers for the mackie, but for some reason it will only open projects in 16bit. Almost all the work I've been doing (as well as ALL of my new almost finished record) is 96k 24bit, and now wont play with the laptop. All the settings seem to say that 24 bit will work, but I can't get the thing to start a project, or record 24 bit in any way. Anyone had this issue?
