It looks like every other strat pickup, except on the back (underneath the pickguard) it has these two long skinny black magnet looking things on the pickup. Any ideas what this pickup is, pretty sure its a fender of some sort, but any idea what it would of come out of? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members Prages Posted August 30, 2006 Members Share Posted August 30, 2006 Long skinny magnets usually mean it's a ceramic magnet, which are often found in lower end Strats. That's not to say that some higher end pickups don't use ceramic magnets though. Basically it's impossible to tell what it is based upon your description.
