Members flatfacerincone
TOTALLY AND UTTERLY {censored}ING ROCKS. That is all. Actually, no its not. I finally got to see him tonight, and he {censored}ing blew me away. Good god, he was on fire. He played Becks Bolero, Nadia, 'cause weve ended as lovers, Scatterbrained, all of my favorites, and plenty of new tunes that ive never heard. He rocked on all of em. He even did a bealtes song, (the name eludes me right now,) andSomewhere over the Rainbow for an encore. GO SEE HIM.  :thu:
Members Roy Brooks
I saw him a few weeks ago. I don't believe I have ever seen anybody with more control over his instrument.

Members Jealousblues
the beatles song wouldnt happento be a day in the life would it? Id love to see him. What kinds od venues does he play? I would love it if he came to st. louis, and I didnt have a gig or a practice that day...but that combination is so unlikely it would be unbelievable. Members CrackerD
I saw him in Oakland the other night. I posted prior to going to the show because I had a FREE TICKET to give away but nobody on here responded. How {censored}ing retarded is that? FREE entrance to a Jaff Beck show and NOBODY on HC was interested. Bizarre. Yes, Roy Brooks is correct. NO ONE has the kinda of control Jeff has. It's really unbelievable how much feel he has. His tone is sick!
Members flatfacerincone
Yeah, that was it. A day in the Life. We tried to get him back onstage for a third encore, (my friend even offered him LSD if he did, haha, ) but, alas, to no avail. I didnt want that show to end last night. Man, i wouldve hit you up if i lived anywhere near Oakland. Hes totally worth seeing twice.

Members rider of time
Great post. I saw him with SRV in Troy NY years ago. He is wicked. At the end of the show SRV and Beck wailed to some wicked blues. Tis a night I'll never forget
