Members TBush
This project was the deadline I was sweating to get mixed a couple weeks ago- my daughter's Christmas CD. She really wanted to go in an old-pseudo 40's and 50's direction, so while I played all the stringed instruments, I brought in some old friends to play drums and piano. On this particular song the electric guitars were both recorded direct, then re-amped through an old Traynor Bassmaster head feeding a 1x15 cabinet, mic-ing the cab with a 57 and mic-ing the room with a Rode NT1. Kinda gives it that small jazz club feel, and was a lot more fun to accomplish than using a convolution 'verb plug-in! The CD's arrived yesterday (I gave my UPS driver a freebie copy) and will be available through Rockhill Records.
