Members scolfax Posted November 5, 2006 Members Share Posted November 5, 2006 Can someone tell me the difference between the neck on a 50's Classic Stratocaster and the neck on a '57 reissue? I own a '99 50's Classic, but I've never seen a '57 reissue. Are the necks essentially the same? Would you be able to tell the difference blindfolded? Members hondro Posted November 5, 2006 Members Share Posted November 5, 2006 I've played the 52 Tele and 50's Reissue tele not the same guitars, but you get the idea the neck on the 52 is nitro while the 50's has poly the 52 is noticeably stickier, its a little bigger too they both have the same radius, fret size, etc. they're extremely similar, but I prefer the feel of the 50's better Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
