Members Coverdale
They're apparently cheaper in Europe, from what I've seen so far... I saw one used for
Members stratabastard10
I like the one I have. The Duncan pups aren't bad at all. For some reason it seems not as strat like as ...most strats, I dont know that just might be my opinion. It's hard to explain, try one out and see if it makes any sense about what i said haha. The neck's nice and comfy, and I havent really had any problems in mine. Seems built pretty well, I've had mine for almost 2 years or so.
Members GAS Man
Common comment I've heard is that the "lite ash strats" aren't light. Swamp ash is light cuz it's water logged when green. Heavy as hell. But dry it out and those big ass xylem and phloem cells are empty and you have a light resonant piece of wood. Not necessarily so on these "lite ash" strats cuz, if my brain remembers correctly, they use a Northern ash. Other than that, I done know what the F I'm talking bout on this subject. Got Duncans though
Members marloni
i like those guitars. they don't sound from from normal strats. much darker and beefier sound. I like the sound primarily. reminds me of van halen. i mean, play any hagar era song on it, and it sounds great.
Members RUExp?
I think the alnico 2 Seymour Duncans are a good match in the Lite Ash model.
Members mmcquain
Nice guitars for the money. The SD PUPs were OK but the hum of most single coils drives me batty so I ended up putting Fender Vintage Noiseless in mine and it was great.
