Members UsedToBeJES Posted August 7, 2005 Members Share Posted August 7, 2005 Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation for a mic to use with my Powerbook input, which takes 1/8" mono or stereo input. It's just for recording an interview with someone. I figured there must be an external mic that would give better quality than the internal one on the mac, which is surprisingly decent. If you're using a lapel mic, there are plenty available and you should be able to find one with a 1/8" jack. Or you can use any mic you like with a 1/4" out, and just buy an adapter cable from 1/4" to 1/8". But if the Mac mic is surprisingly good, why not just use it?
