The contour around the horns doesn't look right to me, if it were a Gibson ,it would have more contouring at the horns, instead of being cut flat like the pic you provided. One of Gibson's cost cutting deals in the 80 was to do much less contouring around the cutouts on SGs... like on my Gibson Double neck. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I keep forgetting I can call, that would set it straight wouldn't it? To be honest, I've never called in a serial number before. Guess there is a first time for everything...
