Members 's mel gibson
Probably a major type of job. It's less trouble to just go and buy a used guitar with a FR factory installed.

I'd reccomend you installing the posts that come with the Floyd. Just use a dowel to fill in the existing holes (after pulling out the bushings), and redrill them. Of course, is there a problem you're experiencing with the bridge already on there? Maybe just a good setup/cleaning would do what you need? Members yabba
ask here: http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/index.php I know I've seen this addressed for pretty much all of the trems ever used by jackson/charvel, but a brief search didn't bring it up. If you post your question there I'm sure someone will chime in with the answer
Members baimun
I'd need to see pics of the trem as well as post spacing from the center of each pole. I've replaced inexpensive floyd copies with both original floyds and the Schaller floyds. Most of them are direct drop in replacements.... unless it's the Jackson floyd with the fine tuners at the end of the trem with the locking posts going right through them. Those are about an 1/8th of an inch too narrow pole to pole. You have to pull the bushings, glue a wooden dowell and then redrill. I've got a thread out there with comparisons of several Floyd models including photos of each of them.
