Spring guitar flash!

Well, the weather is really nice where I live, so I decided to take some pictures of my guitars outside, in the natural light. I've recently sold most of my guitars (I had over 20), because I wanted to have 5-6 guitars that rocked my world, and that I would play, not for financial reasons. I just like having fewer guitars. :)

Anyway, here goes:

My warmoth axis, brazilian rosewood neck, alder/quilt body:

Old Squier, just a really nice player, duncan singles:

My homemade Shredder-Tele:

Schecter 006 Extreme - Great playing, great construction, nice sound:

And my absolute no. 1 - My 1994 pre cnc PRS CE24. Best guitar I've ever had or even played - Awesome:

Uhhggg, I love guitar porn.

Question; did you assemble both of the Warmoth guitars yourself? Can you describe your work on them, how long it took, challenges, etc.?

Nice axes, very nice. I have been thinking about getting a Schecter myself for shredding when the need arises. :thu:

I assembled the green one myself, the black shred-a-tele I built from scratch. I would love to elaborate, but I've gotta go now, so I'll get back to you guys later today.

Nice guitars and photos. That brazillian rosewood neck looks so comfy and smooth. I wish it was sunny and warm here. It's been raining here for the past week or so. Sucks when you're on a bike. When looking at that family pick, I can't help but hear that opening riff from Aqualung... sitting on a park bench... dun dun duh!

Thanks for the nice comments. :)

The Warmoth was really simple to put together, just bolted it together, wired it up, and adjusted it. Nothing to it, really. The rosewood neck feels really really nice, and it has a very warm tone. It has stainless steel frets, which are a bit brighter than usual, so it counteracts the warmth somewhat, but there is a definite chracter of the rosewood present. It doesn't get the playing time it deserves, since I play a lot of clean with my main band, and I like the clean tone a bit brighter, but it works great for distortion - It probably sounds like a cross between a tele and a LP. As I said it sounds grea, but the PRS is definitely my no. 1 - It can do it all, clean, crunch and distortion with equal ease.
