Members voneville
I'm thinking about building one of these to take on the ship with me for my upcoming deployment. I don't know a lot about acoustic guitars (I've only owned 1 or 2 in my life) but I know a good deal about cabinet making. I want a pickup on mine though, any idea's for a pickup that wouldn't be prone to feedback? Check out the clip, this thing sounds amazing. Zak is a badass guitarist and singer, he really makes this thing come alive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uxt1nF-vCuE&mode=related&search= Here's another cat
Members Quarter
Thats pretty cool, gota love a guitar with a cup holder For a pickup, I'd guess that the acoustic crowd would have the best advice.
Members voneville
I decided to go low buck and use stuff I have already. I went heavy on material in hopes of making a stiff enough sound board to reduce the vibrations. I know this also might hinder the acoustic properties, but the material was cheap enough to experiment with. All told I spent less the 30 dollars on materials.
