Is there a pickup set that seems to do all relatively well? I would like to build something that can cover all the bases pretty effectively, without going too far to the vintage or modern sides. Members lefchr Posted May 5, 2007 Members Share Posted May 5, 2007 I can get pretty much anything I want out of my strat with a lil 59 bridge, suhr v60's, neck and mid. I have the volume as a switch to turn on the bridge pick up so I can have bridge+neck, and Bridge+neck+middle. Next time I change the strings Im going to wire it so that it Has a master tone, the last tone control will be a spin-a-split, for the bridge pickup.
