Question about Rondo's billing/costumer service

Hey. I just ordered a guitar from Rondo for the first time Monday. I used my check card to pay and almost immediately a "hold-payment" was put on it and the money was taken out. I got an email from Rondo yesterday morning stating that the guitar was no longer available due to a stocking error and that my order was cancelled. I just called my bank to see if the purchase/hold had been cancelled and the money put back into my account yet, and was told that the purchase had been posted yesterday. Is this normal? Does it usually take longer for a cancelled transaction to be credited back to your bank account? Should I call Rondo to see whats going on? I don't do much online shopping so, this is the first time I've had an online order cancelled, and I could some experienced advice.

Thanks in advance for your help.

the only you have to fear is if your bank is lying to you - Kurt won't.

I have five guitars, sold another, bought tow violins, have four frineds who collectively have bought..let's see:

3 AL2000's

1 DC2800

2 AL3000's

6 Basses from Rondo

We pretty much like their service!
