I mean, they literally start to slide in really snug, then stop. It feels like I could ..ya'know "Force it" but I'm afraid to do that. Thought I'd ask if anyone here has any thoughts on that. ...then I thought - "Hey, what if I put some sort of lubricant on the shaft?" so - that, too is a question: Would that solve my problem here? What kind of lubricant should I use? Or would that just ruin the wood of the peghead, somehow? I'd appreciate any help you can offer!
