Nice lookin guit. Yeah I added the Varitone. It's a dummy control. I bought a Varitone for it but it won't fit throught the damn F-hole. I sorely miss it, I bought mine used (mint) for $350 in 95 or 96 and I think it was probably the nicest guitar I've ever owned, and I've owned Gibsons, Fenders, and a PRS (mid 90's model). I actually traded the Epi for the PRS and seriously regretted it, even though the PRS was worth 4 times as much (and stolen I later found out).
