Members expertune
I know nut width, fingerboard radius etc etc. But what parameter is for neck thickness? I found some guitars with same radius but different neck thickness, they feel differently. Thanks
Members DaveAronow
Not sure what you are asking..... neck thickness usually pertains to the widest distance between the surface of the fingerboard and the surface of the underside of the neck

I can not find this parameter/number/figure in any guitar specifications.

Members Dave_Mc_2
several guitar manufacturers spec it. Ibanez do, as do jackson. not sure about any others, but those two certainly do. (at least, last time i checked their websites, lol)
Members meandi
stew mac recomends 3/32" material thickness between bottom of truss rod channel to back of neck for structural reasons this is for their double action rod i use in my necks could be different for s/a rods
Members LaXu
Often manufacturers state it at two points: under 1st fret and under 12th fret. Generally between 17-23mm at the 1st fret.
Members DavyJonesLocker
i dont think any guitar companies specify this type of measurement, "Thickness or Depth" I'd call it. A few makers publish this spec I think. If you're interested in a particular guitar you might have to contact the manufacturer - or go down to your local music store with a pair of plastic calipers.
