Members pimphat22
Hello All! I play covers in a band with my brother and he owns a DOT studio which he loves. I am not too big on semi-hollows but none the less he loves the thing and will never get rid of it. So here's the problem... we are looking for a pickup that would help it sound a little "fatter" for some of the rock / metal sounding covers we do. I use Bill Lawrence and EMG pups in my LP's but im thinking they both may be a little on the bright sound for a semi-hollow body. So we're looking for something with a higher output but also a little dark for lack of a better term. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Very nice! I might be interested in a set of chrome covered B.G. Buckers or P.U.F.s. sometime. The clips sounded real nice. :thu:
