If you know how to set up a 6point strat trem Then they work fine ..have the nut recut and lubricate or install a graphite nut(or brass) ..remove the middle string tree etc.. My SX holds very well. Generally it's not needed since these necks are usually good, only a little fret level and polish like most mass production guitars need.
