Members Groovemeister
I have a ES-335 clone, the pickups it came with make the E-A-D strings sound weak and muddy. I play blues-hard rock, what pickups do you recommend? Members csm
You're on the right track with PAF-alikes; 335s (and their imitators) really don't like anything overly hot.
Members Patuney
Classic 57 in the neck, classic 57plus in bridge. You've now got a $4,000 sounding guitar

This jives with what i was told when shopping for my H535 ..... I went with the stock pickups due to that advice. rat

Members mrmikers
The Alnico II Pro's are the most transparent humbuckers I've ever heard. I think they would really let the natural sound of a semi-hollowbody shine through.
