I am going to string the new '59 up with Flat Wounds... and I got to thinking that I may have to alter my installation method. Usually I string them using the throughackunderend up technique. The only thing different may be that they have silk on the ends. The Thomastik-Infeld strings I used to use on my old Sheraton II had silk ends.
