Normally I play with the following set-up: Guitar > CBI Cable > BD-2 > Wah > Fender Cable > Amp When I did this on Saturday I wasn't getting any sound at all. All batteries checked out ok. Guitar straight into amp with CBI worked fine. With just Fender also worked fine. But as soon as I introduced pedals there was no sound. Then I switched the set-up like this: Guitar > Fender Cable > Pedals > CBI > Amp And it worked! Wtf? Why would putting the Fender Cable into my guitar make it work and not the CBI into guitar? If they both work independently, why wont they work with pedals in either configuration? ?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'll bet something was plugged in wrong and when you hooked it up again you got it right. Try doing it again and see if it doesn't work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guitar into CBI into Pedals into Fender Cable into Amp. Doesn't make much sense to me.Sure, by using the Fender first and then the CBI it sort of "fixes" the problem...but I'm the kinda guy that needs to know why!Could it be the CBI is getting shot and can't drive the pedals by guitar alone....but pedals into the CBI drive it fine?
