Members studdhuss
I'm totally entranced by the newly released DVD 'David Gilmour: Remember That Night/Live at The Royal Albert Hall'This DVD featuring the 60 year old Gilmour sounds as close to Pink Floyd as it gets. Richard Wright actually sings quite a bit on this one too.The 'Pulse' tour from '94 was good but in my opinion this feature has more substance to it.The full version of 'Echoes' is unbelieveable.Gilmour is at his best here. When I hear old stuff he did in the early 80's that just seemed like he was banging on the guitar for the hell of it with little feeling (McCartneys 'Broadstreet')it makes me glad to see him at the point now where he does NOT miss a note! This is a Flawless DVD, and the players in his band are top notch.Even Crosby and Nash appear and sound good as ever! This DVD is a definite 9 out of 10.You Floyd Fans owe it to yourself to check it out.
