Members joegrant413
I'm thinking of buying an inexpensive guitar (a Squier) online. I'm not handy with stuff, and would really appreciate the store making sure the guitar has a decent setup out-of-the-box. So... which -- if any -- of the online guitar stores would you recommend? Thanks,-- Joe
Members GCDEF
I wouldn't count on any store doing a setup on a Squier for you. I've always found www.guitartrader.com good for Fender stuff.

Members jdjonsson
Sweetwater, but I don't know if they sell Squiers.
Members GCDEF
Thanks, I hadn't heard of GuitarTrader. -- Joe I've bought from them a number of times. They'll always give a better price if you call them. Several years ago if you mentioned HC, they'd give you a discount. Not sure if that's still the case or not, but they're a great store to work with.
Members Sauntman
I've only bought one guitar ever online and that was through Sweetwater. I was very satisfied with their service and the quality of my guitar. They do sell Squier guitars too.

Members ArKay
MusikhausThomann in Germany. They have the worst packaging in Germany though. And they sent me 2 broken guitars (both were returns).

Members Jkater
They have the worst packaging in Germany though. And they sent me 2 broken guitars (both were returns). That would be a bugger. What I did appreciate from dealing with them is that I could always return anything that I did not like, hardly any questions asked and they pay the return (with a Freeway sticker). I had very bad and unpleasant experiences in this regard with Musikproduktiv.
