Wow, I've never heard of BG and 3 recommendations-I'll have to check them out.

Hi Surfcat,

Im Bryan Gunsher, the owner of BG Pups.

If I can answer any questions or help with pickup recommendations please let me know.

For what you described, I would try either my BG Buckers or PUFs.

Both are great classic rock pickups. BGs have a nice jangle when clean and a nice AC/DC styled crunch when dirty.

PUFs have less jangle and are a little darker than the BGs. Both are low output pickups.

There's info and clips at www.bg-pups.com

I appreciate all the kind words from you guys who have been using the pickups.:thu:

It's the Orangery, no decent heat in there this time of year, it's been below freezing most nights this week:(

Should I even try asking why you''re playing guitar in the middle of the night in an orangery??? Nah. I think I don't want to know :)

Nice to hear from you. How would these match up with the '59 in the neck output-wise and tone-wise?
