Members SUV Steve
I'm looking at 3/4 scale guitars for my daughter who although 13, has tiny little fingers. (I feel her pain. ) But, I seem to be reading that some of these have full size string spacing? Are they all that way? Any significant differences between brands in that regard? TIA
Members Ponec
The mini-Strat and "Hello Kitty" mini-Strat both have smaller string spacing. The Epi Wee-Vee and mini-LP have "normal" spacing. Might I suggest though, your daughter being 13 (so is my oldest - btw) that you take a look at Daisy Rock Guitars http://www.daisyrock.com/ They are actually a subsidiary of Schecter Guitars and their quality is on par. Their whole line is aimed at girls with smaller hands and their prices are pretty reasonable for the quality that you get. Hope this helps, -Ron
Members SUV Steve
Hey thanks! Yes, Daisy Rock might be a good next step if she decides to stick with the instrument.
Members Treborklow
If you want to try an acoustic on her, try the Martin LXM. Very small guitar and neck. They play and sound really nice and you can get one for around $250.
