If you had those numbers coming to your site for your music you would make more selling downloads. IMO. Serious? I've never used adsense, but I have a site that gets 100K unique visitors a day. I choose commentary. This thread is killing me. We've got one guy claiming he made $200,000 online in a year, which I don't even remotely believe. The convincing argument that it's true was "I have the money." Oh, well, in that case, I believe you. No other evidence is necessary. What was I thinking? C'mon, Poker99, even you must be convinced. And Danosongs and his approach... Normally BlueStrat shows up by now with his Obama Avatar Collection and fires full photon torpedoes. Wide spread, maximum yield. Danosongs can't win the Poker88 tournament. If he claims some outrageous amount of money, we'll say he's full of BS. If he claims some decent amount of money, we'll still ask for proof. If he takes the high road and says it's none of our business, we'll criticize him for that. My point is that talking about money on here is a tad silly. Web advertising doesn't pay anywhere NEAR what people who don't know anything might think and some of us here who work in technology know better. Whatever. If anyone has any real actual ideas, as opposed to giving away your music or pretending you're an Internet Tycoon, I'd be interested in hearing. I do not broker traffic, the traffic comes from me and my own websites. Brokers only get a fraction of the money, I want it ALL. Business is not like it use to be though. The 90s were really good, I was making $30K a month. Even sold some of my domains for big bucks and retired. Will never have to work another day in my life.... for anyone else at least. I enjoy being an entrepreneur. The thing is, you can make money from ads on your website. It's not easy, but it can be done. The only way you can do it though is if your website gets some good QUALITY traffic. I'm guessing "website traffic" is your keyword.AdWords says on the high end "website traffic" is worth $4.95 a click. Test it. If it doesn't work dump it.
