Members TaZMaNiO
Looks like my prediction came true...I knew that concept just wasn't gonna fly. This of course is good news for USACG enthusiast, as Ty has relocated back to Tacoma and is now strictly doing paint for USACG...
Members k4df4l
Yeah, I suspected that was a bit too radical for most folks to really bite.
Members TaZMaNiO
Well, USACG offers stainless steel frets and Mercurio didn't...perhaps that led to their demise?

Members Fiverz
I love how an obviously studio-geared guitar needs a fancy flame/quilt top Make them without all the cosmetics for 700-1000 and I think they would have had something going. I think their prices had a lot more to do with the cost of their startup and operation than the money they put into a maple top.
Members tim gueguen
A company called Player tried the same idea back in the mid '80s and were equally successfu.

Dan Armstrong/Ampeg did it in the late '60s. Since I'm asking I probably can't afford one but I'm still curious.

What's not to like...Almost never wear, insuring perfect intonation, play smooth as butta and add a hint of clarity, punch & crunch. That's enough for me to love em

'Course, you don't really know much about the demographic of the people who voted, so the poll is pretty much meaningless.
Members StevenGurg
I got mine the week the business folded. Fortunately I have a great collection of modules and pickups. I keep it well cared for and love being able to sample pickups and make it useful for any application. It may have been an idea before its time... but it is a great guitar.
