Members renier
nice to see you play a ruby Gibson Les Paul Gem series guitar. Great guitar thanks. seem to recall you play one to? i love it, but had to switch out the bridge pup. couldn't get them to balance out volumewise and missed the power of a bucker in that position. Members Faber
thanks... just bid on the plexitone. something tells me this might be a great combination. The plexi is a wonderful pedal.....with some amps: Never could get anything good out of it with 6L6 equipped Fenders - Vox and especially Marshall style amps otoh
Members C-4
While the Fender clean is a great tone, for the jazzier sounds of a clean, like a good 1940's jazz tone on an archtop type of feel, I really love the sweet tones that a Marshall tube amp has. It really is so under-rated for cleans but I totally love the Marshall tones! Hope you enjoy that amp, it's great.
