Members Willyguitar
On the subject of pronunciation, I used to own a Givson - 1500 rupees, about 50 quid. I upgraded from the Epephone. But the funny thing was that in India, the 'v' and 'b' are often interchangeable sounds in languages like Hindi... which possibly confused the legal status. (Actually, maybe not out there). Our local Member of Parliament is Phil Willis, pronounced by my lovely wife at a party recently, in her Latin accent as 'Feel Willies'. That turned a head or two as well, as did her attempt to practice some of her newly learned London slang - 'pins' for legs. She told a colleague standing further away that she loved his 'Peeens'. Amazing she's still my wife really. Then, when my parents in law came to stay, it was difficult to stifle the guffaws as the mother in law discussed 'Michael Weener'.
