Members Jimbo513
I need a new guitar for a band that plays in drop C. I would like a floating bridge with a locking nut and a set neck or neck through. I live in a smaller town and we don't have many music stores. I went to one and played a few guitars and liked the feel of the Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR. I would like to make a trip to a bigger city soon and play some more guitars. Are there any guitars you guys would recommend that may have a similar feel / design as the Schecter? If so I could try and find them and play a few. My budget is around $1000. New or used. My mains guitar now is an old 80's Yamaha SE1220 and I love it. It has a great neck, low action, floating bridge and set neck. So anything comparable to that one as well would be cool. Thanks. Members Jimbo513
yeah, but I'd like to play more to make sure I get the right one. Don't want to settle on the first one I liked.

Members Dewysoss
Not much going to beat a Hellraiser in that price range. Also try out Schecter Blackjacks and ATXes if they have them. ESP also has the M and MH models, 400/500/1000 series are the ones you want to look for
