Members ryan7585
It keeps adding these little pops and skips... it seems to be doing it both on recording and playback, but mostly playback. I don't think it's the computer, cause it didn't do this with my old FireWire 410. Could it be the drivers or something about the way it's set up?? Anybody else had this problem? Members calenk
well could be a variety of things first make sure you have the newest driver, now right click the firepod icon in the systray and change it from high to medium or vice versa depending on what its on right now, if it fixes it but only for a couple minutes then if you have SP2 get the patch from presonus' website...try this and let us know could be a few other things aswell

Members TimOBrien
Also make sure that you have plenty of free space on your hard drive and defrag it/them OFTEN. (You should be running ALL audio tracks from a separate hard drive from your boot drive ALWAYS.)
