Members Mad Hatter
i was looking at a real old jap shred guitar (with an aweful paint job but) it was a nice player and cheap but it has a big crack in the neck pocket and it looks like it is in the wood. It's got a real floyd rose on it too. Can they be fixed? Does it seriously effect the playability of the guitar? I'm just thinking it will get worse and maybe eventually crack all the way through it was a good inch long crack and it looked like it was in the wood not just the finish. Members 3red
depends if the crack is on the bottom part or not. not all guitars even have wood on the side of the neck
Members Mad Hatter
well i thought it was a japanese but it was a korean kramer striker 600st 1980 something puke purple paint job plywood body i thought so from the weight and there was a ding in it and it sure looked like plywood but the neck was pretty cool it has a real floyd rose though but they wanted $199 i tried to offer $140 but they won't budge so I will wait 6-9 months if they still have it they will then reduce it to clearance lol i'm not entirely sure i tried to move the neck a bit to see if the crack was in the wood or not but.. this guitar is kinda crap anyways not really worth it unless the reduce it to $140 (and that is because it has a good case)
