Members mysterybat35
Hey guys, Been a while since I've posted. Hope everyone's doing good! It's November, and I'm thinking about carving a turkey. I'm not sure the stuffing will fit.. I have a gold Fender twin pivot tremolo as seen here:http://cgi.ebay.com/FENDER-AMERICAN-STANDARD-GOLD-TREMOLO-BRIDGE-KIT_W0QQitemZ320257687708QQihZ011QQcategoryZ41407QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247 I want to put that SAME tremolo on this cherry sunburst strat (yet to buy): http://www.musicpower.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=EGFN36-SSLECSB# Shouldn't it fit? Both are twin pivot and are fender/squier products? Also I want to put a glossy maple neck on it sorta like the one seen on the 70's reissue strats but I'm not sure the neck will fit...or where to get one for that matter...any suggestions on getting the right neck to fit ... also again I'm basically ordering these parts online.. Thanks a lot for all your your help!!! MB35
Members _pete_
The trem and the neck should fit fine. I believe the stud spacing on the Squier & Fender bridges are the same.
Members mysterybat35
Thanks Pete! Well I will definately post the pics once its done.. My reason for picking those two pieces of hardware is because for 1.) out of all of the strats I have played at Guitar Center and Sam Ash, the glossy neck to me has the best all around feel and sound for some reason..so if I ever made my own from scratch I would put one of those 70's reissue necks on it and 2.) out of all of the Fender strats I have played the twin-pivot tremolos strats seem to stay in tune a lot better than ones MIM with the vintage tremolos and the 6 screws
