Moderators MrKnobs Posted May 8, 2008 Moderators Share Posted May 8, 2008 Is Daft Punk playing at your house? Only on my studio monitors so far. I like 'em OK. I might invite them to the next party at my ranch. Terry D.
Members Alndln2
i dont get it. the recording quality is superb. the degradation of sound was very deliberate I understand what they were trying to do but I thought it was a bad attempt at that and thought it overall a bad mix, the bass distortion sounded like going direct without a D.I and trying to blow the users monitors, not to mention the frequencey overwhelming the vocals and other instruments. For a while I thought they were passing off mixes done by the public. If this recording is considered good sonically, then maybe I am getting old, but thankfully I hear good sonic recordings plenty enough these days to dispell that notion and that's not something I'm usually all that fussy about, if the music does something for me I really don't care if the recording is all that. This really sounded awful to me on a technical level. To each his own I guess.
