Members Mrrikki
Hello all Anyone own or played a Gibson Les Paul Vixen? What are they like? I am looking fora lighter Les Paul in view of my back problems recently, this has happened on a few occasions so i am going to do all i can to protect my back. So thinking of trying one of these out maybe? Thoughts please, if you own one pictures would be great Thanks

Members Mrrikki
This is the one I am liking http://www.dawsons.co.uk/acatalog/info_00059776.html but I would get it cheaper locally, the reason I am thinking about it is that I tried to play my LP tonight, I love the feel and sound but the weight really hurt my back

Members billythegoat
I think I might be the only person in the forum with one.All around a great guitar, super light and a really slim quick neck. It will probably be similar to your MM, except it has a carved top and 2 HB's...oh and the tummy cut.

Members Mesa/Kramer
The new chambered Les paul's are so light, I don't think it would be an issue for you. Another option that I think would be better than the Vixen is a les Paul Specail SL.
