Members elsupermanny14
Can anyone provide a picture of the block on the newer "upgraded" MIM blocks that Fender started producing for the MIM Standard Strat? I want to see if I can just purchase one of those rather then pend the money for a Callaham.

Quite a bit cheaper. I know some purists won't settle for anything but a Callaham, but I'm a poor musician with bills to pay.
Members Dave67
I just pulled my trem on an 07 MIM. It was replaced by a Callaham trem. The Callaham trem beats the MIM trem in everyway.

Members funbnme
I have this on my MIM 72 reissue. I love the way the arm pops in. Has a very solid feel...no slack in the bar like you have on the screw-in type arms.http://yhst-50206111187217.stores.yahoo.net/wivitrpoarst.html
Members GarysBlues
I've heard the MIM Standard upgraded trem is really just a larger Zinc block. The Trem Block on the Classic Player 50-60 is a Rolled Steel large block, but a two-point trem. Anyway I been using Guitarfethish MIMs were needed. They are ALL Steel. Anyone actually put a magnet on the block of a new MIM Standard?
