I get my guitars set up every quarter by a professional tech. Included in this is the normal. Intonation. Action. String Change. Fretboard Cleaning. Fret Maintenance. Any other "repair" is an addition to the flat rate "setup" charge. I enjoy working/modding my guitars as much as the rest but I want my guitars that I play to be properly tuned when I use them. This is the reason I take my guitars to my tech. I mean it is sort of like a race car drive. He doesn't work on the car. He drives it. The mechanics get paid to make it drive well. What I am wondering is a couple of things. 1)Do you get your guitars set up by a pro tech?2)How much do they charge you?3)Do you think it is worth it? I cant wait to see what yall say!
