Members joephish Posted April 10, 2019 Members Share Posted April 10, 2019 I have an American Strat that has a S1 Switch and am looking to replace the traditional Strat Knobs with Tele knobs, however, the S1 button knob that you can get for a tele or a Pbass does not fit appropriately (the button assembly isn’t compatible with the way the strat is set up). Members mrbrown49 Posted April 10, 2019 Members Share Posted April 10, 2019 I think you are stuck, unless you switch out the pot/switch to suit the knob you want. Check the link below. They have both the solid and split shaft versions. I'm guessing your strat has the split shaft version and the tele requires the solid shaft version since it uses a set screw.
