Members Ed Dixon
Church has a quote from local store for gear. One item is two 12" wedge speakers from Community for about $700 each (XLT41E). Any experience? Ed
Members tlbonehead
Don't know that model personally. Perhaps a link would be handy to take a look at it. But as I'm sure you already know, Community is pretty well established as a very decent brand as a whole.
Members stmatt
I have a pair of those. I would sell them in a heartbeat. Nothing against Community in general, my FOH is Community. But IMO the 41 is practically useless as a floor monitor. It sounds very good using playback material, but is just too "hi-fi" for practical use as a floor monitor. Feedback issues at the extremes, and not enough "cut" in the vocal region. They don't handle kick drum very well, either. I have also attempted to use them for small SOS gigs, not much success there either. -Matt
