Members Faldoe
I got a V-Station soft synth not too long ago. I was excited to be able to import all my K - Station sounds I had saved. One thing I used to love doing with the K -Station was holding/latching notes - holding down the desired keys and then pressing the Oct Up or Down which will latch those notes. I don't see any menu option for that on the V-Station. I'm using an Akai MPK 49 to control it. It has an Arp function with latch but no Hold that I'm aware of. I tried maxing the AMP sustain and Release on the V-Station to simulate the hold but it doesn't work. Any thoughts?
Members Suilebhain
I wish every synth had that feature, but sadly it seems most do not.

Members liliththekitten
I have V-station and couldn't find it. I haz a sad. The only synth I've known that has it is the Poly-61, maybe MS2000 which would be lovely but I don't have one anymore to test.
Members liliththekitten
Figured it out! Try this: Map a switch on your controller keyboard to CC#64 (sustain pedal) and set it to toggle between 0 and 127. Infinite sustain! Works with my Remote 25 SL and V-station, awesome! Members Faldoe
sweet, I'll try it!!! will it just sustain the end or will it allow the LFOs to work for filter sweeping action?
Members liliththekitten
It just sustains the notes forever, LFO's still work and you can tweak *anything* it seems.
Members Suilebhain
Ahh! Genius! That should work with anything, like even a knob on a controller if one does not have switches! *virtual hugs to Lillith* I just checked and my Photon has buttons! Members pogo97
It would be nice, though, if synths had something like a sustenuto pedal.

Members Suilebhain
I tried this last night on my X-Station's X/Y pad, set X2 to CC64. Very cool.
