Members captain insane-o
I'm considering an SV-1 for general "electric piano" sounds for the house (the simplified interface, etc appeals b/c we have "pianists" , not synthesists over a lot) I've heard some talk of reliability issus. Also, it's ben out a while - think it'll be superceded 2 months after I get one ? (that's not relly a question...of course it will...that's how I roll) any thoughts on the SV-1 in gernal would be appreciated too
Members kbeaumont
I have been gigging regularly with mine about 2 - 6 nights a month for over a year without issue. They might have an SV2 in the works but I wouldn't hold my breath! The SV1 is perfect for my needs, the finger to ear connection is superb.Especially the Rhodes sounds. I know a couple other guys in my area that play out every weekend with theirs.
Members captain insane-o
that'd be nice - right now we do have a mki 73 with all the inherent problems and "character"
