So I spent all of Saturday night experimenting with the reflectors on my car.
Using various light sources it seems they do reflect light, but not in a way that is cool.
What is the secret to achieving said cool reflection of light as EVH gets?
For cool light to be reflected, the rear side of the reflector must be mounted flush against the body of a guitar. Preferably the back of a guitar, but feel free to experiment.
Wow..... Really lame thread.. How did no one put a stop to this LOONG ago..? This was a sad re-creation of the "Dimebag put tape on it to stop the strings from dabba jabba za..." That was funny.. This was sad..
I agree. This entire debacle reflects poorly on our little community.
In a cool way.
you, sir, are too big for your britches.
Actually, my britches are too big for me. I have taken to wearing a belt. I need new clothing. I might even affix a reflector or two to the hip pockets, to reflect my sexiness in a cool way.
I heard he got the idea from Holdsworth, who once used a similar device to foster prismatic light diffusion under temperatures of extreme refrigeration.
I just scored a set of NOS reflectors on ebay from a guy who used to work at the same truck stop. I'm going to reflect some cool {censored}ing light very soon.
Will post clips.
I heard he used the rainbow light that reflected off the swords in a cool way to actually slay the dragons... Eddie was just trying to being something similar to his guitar - hence, the reflectors. Maybe it was Dio that he met at the truck stop, that suggested such a cool way of reflecting?
